Would Chickens Lay Eggs Forever ?
« on: 27/08/2007 21:29:13 »
Further to my cow question...it got me thinking that do chickens go through menopause or will they continue to lay eggs till the strain kills them ?

What's the average life span of an egg producing chicken ?...what happens to the chicken when it goes to chicken soup land ?...Does it end up in a nugget ?

The chickens will select a favourable phenotype gene which will lead to greater number of offsprings.
These offsprings will carry the favourable genes.
Therefore will reproduce even greater ...
this difference lead to evoltion in the direction of favourable gene. If the favourable genes happens to be menopause inducing then why not? The fittest reproduces the most. After some time the entire population will express the phenotype characterisitcs of the favoured genes.

Apart from the useless analysis above .I think chicken will not evolve to develop menopause because it has no reasons to do. The egg laying works very well. And the
cock and hen are happy.

you may want to synchronize your arguments. once again, you just said evolution does not rule in favor of any species and is therefor meaningless...

Are you confused ?
Are you suffering from the complexity of life propagated by Science?

Then we need to come together and form a joint alliance against evolution theory involving robotic replicating genes (and false percetion of selction).

Are you willing to join this revolution against false rationality?

i wouldn't want to join you because nothing you have said makes any sense! you are contradicting yourself and unwilling to provide any actual proof of anything you claim is true. show something that says that this TSP stuff might be real and we'll talk. until then, i won't be joining you for anything.
