Not an issue with me, but it is something my mother has had for most of her life, and I know others with the same problem (assuming it is very very extreme).

Main problem is that you can easily get dizzy if you move your head fast (the blood can easily drain from your head).

Generally it is not life threatening, and will help protect you against blood clots, but will increase the likelihood of nose bleeds, and later in life, I believe you will have less likelihood of a heart attack, or of a clot in the brain, but increased likelihood of a brain haemorrhage.

My BP has always been just a tad under normal & it hasn't affected me in the slightest

what is normal anyway? i mean for blood pressure. mine was 121/82 last time i was at the doctor. they always tell me, but the number is meaningless to me
