laboratory chimps
« on: 25/10/2004 06:14:04 »
Tortured chimps rescued from North American zoos, research laboratories and the entertainment industry have found sanctuary in Canada through the efforts of an amazing couple, Gloria and Richard (a veterinarian).  www.faunafoundation.org

For our British friends:

There's a Bristol Premiere being staged at WildWalk-at-Bristol for Art by Chimpanzees, Friday 1 October to Friday 26 November 2004.  www.at-bristol.org.uk/about/chimp_art.htm  The show is appropriately called Sacrificed Lives.

Jane Goodall knows and loves these chimps.

I love animals and all, but I crack up thinking about a monkey wearing makeup and smoking a cigarette.
