I always put mine in ice water for a while, even a bed of ice, before I use it! That helps..The limp thing!
Yes it helps... But you need like an hour in advance.. to chill them! in the ice water..try one.. It is not perfect but seems to help...

I'm gonna try your suggestion Karen. I've put my limp stick in the fridge, submerged in ice water. Hopefully when I come back from the gym, I'll be able to enjoy a nice, stiff, cruncy celery stick! []
