Quite likely. Honey has been used as a preservative and even an antibiotic dressing in many cultures.
Well there ewe have it.......disgusting !!.....i think it received a little water damage as some of it was very saturated......still sweet but the texture of the cake sponge was all soft. Probably a preparation error from 2011. Edible.....but not agreeable...... I am not in hospital and no stomach pump required........which is nice !!

Sponge cake, whether fresh or 10years old is NOT suitable food for a sheep. By the way, when did neilep cease to be human and become a sheep?
