Dearest Choccy Luffers,

As a sheepy I of course luff choccy...I luff all types except the types I hate !....well, I can kind of tolerate dark choccy but I do prefer the creamy goodness of milky choccy, though, white choccy is a bit too sweet but I luff it too.

She's feeling a bit sorry for herself because she's been told told that she's not really allowed choccy as it will not agree with her tummy-wummy !

Why's  that then ?..Why can cats enjoy choccy-woccy and not doggies ?

Dame Desdemona The 3rd feels rather encumbered by this and wonders if doggy-choccy exists anyhwere ?

Chocolate contains the alkaloid theobromine and dogs are unable to metabolize it quickly. Theobromine can be toxic if ingested in large enough quantities (depends upon body weight) and can cause cardiac arrest.

You could buy Desdemona some dog chocolate drops that don't contain the chemical (they're probably carob) and indulge her safely.

they say it every Easter time here..
AFAIK the dog needs to eat quite a large amount of chocolate in one hit.. and/or have a large cumulative effect (like a couple a day) .. one is not going to kill you dog (unless it chokes on it)  but none is better for them.
