Have you read Timothy Ferris' 'The Mind's Sky'?No
Your opinion of it would probably be interesting.I did read the Amazon page on this book. I have little interest in SiFi, although some of it might be interesting.
I think he meant your opinion on the main issue. And if he didn't, I want to know.
So there is nothing specific you want to discuss?
What if human reason is not here to stay? While it seems to have developed it is not clear to me at all whether the human as we know him/her is going to stay. Those who should know better have not been behaving very reasonably lately. And those who don't know better may just make it.Maybe human reason is one of those "lucky" accidents that happen and may (or may not) survive natural selection. Is there anything that humans (or any other animals) display that has a "source"? Is it not all chance and the survival of the better adapted being?
