We all know that CO2 is easily dissolved by water, but I want to know what liquid does not do it!!!

Well, I do and I guess most people who drink beer do. Those who wonder what fish do with the CO2 they produce may well come to the conclusion that they excrete it via their gills into the water.

Anyway, all things are soluble in all things- the question is how much.
Mercury is certainly  very poor solvent for CO2. Molten iron would be as well- but that might not help you very much.

H₂O + CO₂ = carbonic acid, aka acid rain.

My chemistry is very poor, and I'm thinking out loud here, but would CO₂ be insoluble in organic, oil-based compounds, something with covalent bonds but no free electrons for ionic bonding? Benzene?
