None of these actions does anything for global warming - they just make you feel good about (read superior) yourself.

For me - I drive my caddy at 70 mph most of the time, BarBQ every night, leave all my lights on, sneak out early in the morning and put my neighbors' recycled into the trash bin, use only incandescent bulbs (bought a pant load before they were banned), have a picture of Al Gore painted on the bottom inside of my toilet, buy only non-recycled stuff and fart alot,

Well, as long as it makes you feel bad about yourself and inferior to others it is fine.

I decided to do what I know best: Inform people how to do it better (and live cheaper in the process). I put together a website to inform anyone in North America (and anyone else who cares) how to pollute less and use fewer resources in every way and in every area of life I could imagine. The site is called newbielink:http://www.polluteless.com [nonactive]. I am learning a lot more technical things every day though and will have to look it over again to make sure I am not giving bad advice.

I also decided to make a game to teach people about environmental connections available to the public for free. It is called "Survival" and I developed it at my school based on two games called "Werewolf" or "Mafia". The kids love playing it and it usually makes at least a small bit of difference. The teachers who played it with me liked it a lot too. So far the pdf files have been downloaded mostly in Great Britain. Anyhow, if you are curious, it is here: newbielink:http://www.playsurvial.org [nonactive]

And I stopped using the clothes drier, eat almost no meat, heat the house as little as possible, eliminated all air drafts in our old house and reduced our heating bill quite a bit, will soon move close enough to work to be able to bike, take 5 minute showers (occasionally not every day), and refuse to consume/buy what I do not absolutely need. I am afraid, I am bad for the economy though. And I am still far from where I want to be as a human being.

I used to play "mafia" at summer camp in the adirondacks, which is near vermont!  I am now a teacher, I find your game very interesting, children would love it.

Yes, the kids love this game. They ask me all the time to play it. And it changes their attitudes. Thanks!
