I have a question. Does drinking a pregnant woman's pee make you lose weight since it has human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG)?

I used to inject this stuff(HCG not pee BTW [^]) after a cycle of roids in my younger days to kick start endogenous testosterone production once again. It did used to make us feel a bit leaner and I mean a small bit so yes it probably does burn some fat but I and everyone I know who injected this stuff regard it as a complete waste of money with possible consequences decades later. Would I do it again - absolutely not!

And I also know that people will pay a lot of money for this stuff - its got to cost at least £200 to get a pregnant bird to piss on you in soho []!

I think it would be £200 down the drain (if you forgive the pun). That hormone is a protein and would be digested before it could have any effect.

I injected hCG as a trigger on a number of occasions and had no weight loss (the opposite actually - though I can't be sure that wasn't 'other factors')

no it doesn't. hCG occurs naturally during pregnancy.. injection are usually to assit the fertility process during IVF and such procedures.

but it seems like it depends on the person according to JnA's reply

maybe.. I don't have a large enough group to compare, but all people I know that used IVF (and therefore had hCG injections) talked about weight gain.

Also, while you are worrying about drinking urine, don't forget to ask how much of the water in the lower reaches of a river has already been through someone's kidneys recently.
