Where can postdocs get support?
« on: 08/06/2010 12:30:02 »
Salwa asked the Naked Scientists:

I am actually looking for a site where postdoctoral Fellows and research scientists can get some support or advice during writing their work. I have one of those supervisors whose only interested in ready to go data. I am on my own if I have negative data till I turn it positive!!!!

Any suggestions?!

Thanks

What do you think?

I have not seen a response yet for your request. I have empathy and know to well the difficulties of academia. I do not have an absolute answer but maybe what I have found may shine some light. You need a mentor not a supervisor. I hope you have great success.
