MacGraf asked the Naked Scientists:
Hi Chris
I
listen to you every Friday on 702
and really enjoy and learn a lot from your programme.
I recently burnt my 1 finger quite badly. It is healing and the burnt skin is peeling off. So...
When does one lose one's fingerprint permanently i.e. how many layers deep would that burn need to be for the skin never to regenerate?
Thank you for such on
interesting and informative programme
.
Regards
Alta Liebenberg
