It's not a stupid question, Doc. if you do want to lock or delete any topic you have started, you can do it yourself via the options on the page.

Plus, it's a common question that now has another link and possibly more people to view them.

YOU ARE NOT DUMB! Even after reading the other thread I still don't fully understand .. and really had never noticed that my self when watching pigeons!
