How much water on a tree when it is raining?
«

Hello
Not sure if anyone has ever measured this but i was looking at a tree outside during the rain today and i noticed its branches where slightly lower than when it was dry. So i am wondering how much weight in water does a tree carry when it is raining. With all the leaves and branches they do cover a large surface area.
So does anyone know if this has ever been measured? And is there some ratio of water weight compared to tree type or size?
thanks.
