Why Do These Trees Have This Bend In Them ?

Why Do These Trees Have This Bend In Them ?

Dearest Treeologists (I know ewe're out there because ewe knock on my door a few times ever year telling me my trees need pruning)

As a sheepy I of course luff trees !..trees are my all time favourite large tall barky plants that were invented by Peren Nial in 1642 !


look, here I am taking a stroll through the forest of some unusually shaped trees !

But look at those trunks !....why are they like that ?...There is no reason given as to why this has happenned to these trees !


Do ewe know  ?

Cos I haven't !!

What Has Caused These Trees To Grow With Such A Curve ?

As saplings they were broken at the base, but survived and grew up into the monoculture you have there, growing straight upright to compete for light.

Thanks SeanB.......well....I'm convinced !...sounds perfectly reasonable to me. What kind of trauma would they all received to create such synchronicty do ewe think?

Or a flood perhaps?  Maybe they were designed as seats for trolls or upside-down walking sticks or shepherds crooks for giant trolls ?

That's always amazed me, why would vastly technologically superior aliens come all the way to Earth only to crash, on multiple occasions seemingly.

Seen very similar on steep hillsides, where the soil is creeping/ sliding downwards and the trees try to compensate...
