Swallow this

John Somers of Al's Lock and Key thought he had seen it all.
Until Thursday, that is.
For 15 years, Somers has been making keys to open cars and safes. But on Thursday, he did something he had never done before.
He made a duplicate key to a pick-up truck using an X-ray of a man's stomach.

A top-NOTCH story about a KEY event. I bet the locksmith is a BARREL of laughs & he could probably get a good PICK-UP line out of it. <hides under the sofa to avoid the thrown tomatoes>

Woman attempts to swallow phone [UPDATED]
Dec 24 2005 - 12:17 AM ET | Unique
We've heard of people doing a lot of strange things with cell phones, but attempting to swallow one may take the cake. A Blue Springs, Kansas woman halfway swallowed her phone (model unknown) to keep her boyfriend from having it. That's at least what she claims, but the police are still looking into it.

The woman was taken to the emergency room at St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs. She still had the telephone in her throat upon arrival at the hospital, Decker said.

UPDATE 12/26/05: The story has changed, this incident could have been assult according to the latest report.

"It appears she didn't voluntarily swallow this phone," [Police Sgt.] Kintz said. "It's not quite the way it was first portrayed."

There is an old County Laois (Ireland) saying, I will write it phonetically first
“dere nat-tin quer-er dan fock”
There is nothing queerer then folk.

" His name is Michel Lotito, but he is better known as Monsieur Mangetout, a man whose work is eating.

Mangetout, as his name implies ("mange" means to eat, "tout" means "all") eats almost anything. His biggest meal to date is an airplane, but he has a taste for such other delicacies as bicycles and TV sets.

"The biggest thing that I've ever eaten -- which gained me a place in the Guinness Book of Records -- is a plane.
It was a Cessna, model number 150," Mangetout says. "I've eaten 18 bicycles, just as many television sets,
supermarket trolleys." He adds, "I've even eaten a coffin! It was empty; no one was inside." "

Eating the blimp would certainly give him gas, and a very high voice, (as it is filled with Helium).[:)]
