Does Ubuntu-13.04 have a printing problem?

Does Ubuntu-13.04 have a printing problem?

Is anyone using Ubuntu-13.04 ? , I tried it but found a strange problem printing it finds a driver for my HP LaserJet 4M plus and allows me to send text to the printer but blank pages come out !

Use the regular 4M PPD , it should work fine, or just use the Ghostscript engine to do the rendering. Often new versions have printing issues, I would flag a bugtrack issue with this and see what results.

I had the same issue with the printing in Lynx, but it was resolved in about a month. I never change versions until near the end of support for the old, most bugs will have been ironed out by then. Still am using Lucid and another machine is using Dapper, though it is not connected to the internet. New printer, old driver and no problems on using it.
