Nothing proved; I suspect militars have beam weapons on satellites. A "maser" is something like a laser, but with microwave, instead of light (you know, microwaves are those inside a microwave oven).

I think this, because microwaves are more effective than light in transfering energy to a ballistic missile (and destroy it), for example, and because I heard that, in some crop circles, ears of wheat were found folded and heated under the ground. The only thing it comes to my mind able to do something like that it's microwaves.

Furthermore, it shouldn't be difficult for electronic circuits controlling the beam, to make it all those kinds of shapes (I think discoteque-lasers can do them).

Interesting ideas is if they can produce something close to this theory!
