The problem is that the negative electron shells are a very long way from the central nucleas. Although the centre is electrically balanced the shape of the outer shell volume must matchup and push exactly against the next molecule.
If magnoflux concept is correct then this fitting together of their adjacent areas causes a surface tension between the molecules to develop which I think we experience as gravity
