Bioethical implications of prolonged psychiatric therapy
« on: 22/10/2017 10:02:42 »
What are the bioethical implications of prolonged psychiatric therapy?

Should not doctors evaluate the safety of long-term antipsychotic administration over the subjective benefits it may provides to the patient?

What do you think?

What do you think?

I think they already do evaluate the safety of drugs (including antipsychotics) on a continuous and ongoing basis.

So the question is; why did you imagine that they might not do so?
