I consider that before the big bang there was not nothing.   I consider there was ''God'' in which religion as to agree.  I consider the word ''God'' and what describes ''God'' is a perfect explanation of space.  I consider by Chinese  whispers the original meaning was lost and ''God'' became this entity that people believe in today. 
I consider by objectiveness that the early population of the Earth were just asking the question of how and why! 

In considering this they described space and called space ''God''.   

Without a space to exist in, nothing can exist. Space equates to ''God''.

I’m not in agreement with your logic. You are implying that early thinkers thought hard about where space came from and concluded space must be God.

Not quite , the word they used instead of space was God.  However this very first Psuedo science was misinterpreted to end up becoming lost in translation.

Think about this objectively

God is everywhere -  So is space

God is watching you- so is space

God is within you - so is space

God is immortal/eternal - so is space

And the final piece of logic - Nothing can exist without a space to exist in, an event can not happen without a space to happen in.

There is 1 god = 1 infinite space

God = Space
