Bella, Fluffy and Scooter
« on: 17/03/2018 18:22:59 »
I live with three cats; Bella, Fluffy and Scooter.

Bella often craves attention and climbs on me and rubs her head under my neck while at other times doesn't want to be held.

Fluffy prefers not to be held but doesn't complain about it. He comes on my bed in the morning and whines (its his way of meowing .. a strange cat) until I pet him and will jump on the couch at times and stand on my legs expecting to be pet while at other times he won't let me pet him.

Scooter hates to be held and runs away whenever I try to pet him or give him a kitty treat while a few times a day meows until I pet him. When I try to pet him he leads off with allowing me to start petting him then walks away and repeats.

The following analogy came to me today after a few discussions:

Bella is like a physicist who loves physics but isn't overly obsessed with it but never complains when there is no reason to.

Fluffy is like a physics enthusiast who enjoys the subject, willing to learn but is cautious so as not to be misled.

Scooter is like a physics crackpot. Never pays attention to what is good for him, pretends to be interested but immediately turns away when he gets attention.

Oh how true! Lol!
