QotW - 18.11.25 - What happens to bubbles in zero gravity?

Malcolm asks:

After watching the Sony film 'Passengers' and seeing what happens to the swimming pool after loss of gravity, I would like to know what happens to an air bubble inside a mass of water when there is no reference to where upwards is?

Any thoughts?

it will stay where it is because no force to make it 'float', but it might expand a little depending on depth due to reduction in pressure.

Here is a video created on the ISS of astronauts playing with their food.
One astronaut grows a large droplet of water, with bubbles inside, while others bombard it with M&Ms...
