Is it possible to brush your teeth, too much, too often?

ha ha... i'm guessing that you're sticking with that method paul! the only problem i can think of is possibly being too hard on your gums... but i'm not a dentist. however my uncle is, so if nobody else knows by tomorrow i'll give him a call for you.

I would think it is good. you should brush your tongue and also the roof of your mouth and lightly brush your gums it Helps prevent gingivitis! I like my teeth clean..

my uncle said that as long as you use a soft or medium bristled brush and try to take it easy on your gums you should be ok. if you notice any bleeding or abnormal mouth behavior cut back and see a dentist, but he's glad to hear you're crushing a lot!

I hear that! LOL Bleeding gums is a sign of gingivitis. My dentist says like your Uncle that soft brushing of gums helps keep food out of the edges and helps prevent that. Keeps your gums healty. My husband used to scrub his gums so hard they bled horribly.. Yuck!
