I've always noticed that in the summer my rings are tighter than in the winter. Why do fingers swell up in the summer heat? This morning after my hour long walk I could barely get my rings off of my fingers, in fact they had started turning purple. They were fine before I went walking, and they are back to normal now. The heat was not sweltering at all, only about 87 degrees.Does this happen to everyone or am I just allergic to the summer?

For us, 87 is sweltering (maybe a few days a year we get that). We are presently below 60.What about humidity?
