I have two computers with Nvidia GS8400 video cards , these work fine with the drivers they came with version 301.
The crowd at Redmond don't like me using this oldie worldie driver and force the current one on me with the result that I cannot get the NVIDIA control panel.
I know I can stop all updates but I want to stop just this one .

Simply download wushowhide , and after adding the correct driver to your NVIDIA card run it it will enable you to reject any updates that try to screw it up
