Do some people have natural immunity?

Given the current lack of a reliable antibody test, can we be sure that there is no natural immunity to this virus? All news reports seem to suggest that we're all susceptible, but could there be some people who will never get it, no matter their exposure to it? And if so, is that a useful avenue of study - to find out what makes them immune?

Without infecting people deliberately it would be difficult to know who's immune and who's just lucky.
At 61, I've never had the flu, and am tempted to wonder if I'm immune.

Maybe, 10 percent of people are immune to The aids, so chances are yes. If some where not immune to diseases it is probable that we would have been wiped off the map along time ago. The Who apparently think that you do not become immune even after surviving a serious onset, so vaccination is not going to work.

The "spike" protein on the corona virus docks with a receptor on the cell wall.
- If a particular human has a mutated form of the receptor, the virus may not dock at all, or may dock with reduced efficiency.
- The COVID-19 coronavirus docks with the ACE protein which occurs in the lungs, heart, kidneys and gut
- The most common route for infection is thought to be via breathing it into the lungs
- But this receptor also occurs in the gut, so this is certainly a route for excretion, and may also be a route for infection (if it's not quickly disabled by stomach acid, for example)
- Since these receptors occur in the kidneys, then perhaps we should look for virus in urine? This might be more predictable results than a rather hit-and-miss throat swab?
- These receptors in the heart may explain why this virus has been seen to cause heart problems
- Presence of these receptors in arteries provides a highway for it to propagate around the body...
