Regardless of <spam>

Madden 2021, regardless of <spam> this thread and the metacritic score, will make more money for EA than any Madden game earlier. Without competition, EA will benefit off it's monopoly as aggressively as possible.I can not for the life of me figure out what this"Ultimate Team game mode" is, and how it makes them more money. It's basically a trading card game. Closer to a fantasy league compared to a miniature match. In essence, you get player cards that are of distinct qualities/ratings.

These packs are very similar to gambling in that you're not purchasing a specific card, but rather paying for the chance to have that card be in a pack. So, what occurs with ultimate team sport modes is 1% of those players will spend stupid amounts of money on packs to get the best cards. Anyone who wants to contend with these people must also spend actual cash or grind endlessly to get to the same level.

To add insult to injury, new cards and packs are added all of the time, thus there's always reason to purchase the latest and finest packs.I really don't play with these game modes but I watched some buddies in faculty monitor the pack/card marketplace like it had been the god damn NASDAQ. If you're prone to addiction, STAY AWAY.Holy , that seems like Magic the Gathering on crack. Loot boxes + trading cards + football.

One final question - can you use these cards to <spam> play actual games of soccer? Like, a regular 4 quarter game of Madden, just with those teams made of cards?Yes you do use the real cards in a game like you mentioned. You play against other people with them or do struggles vs AI to secure more of the in-game money.
