Not sleeping at all is fatal..

So I guess sleeping does extend your life...

Sleep is very important for the body and if you sleep little, this is often noticeable quickly, be it through lack of concentration, distraction, etc.It is also known that sleep affects not only psychological but also many physical activities. Many cells are renewed while we sleep.

Therefore, I would not necessarily claim that one can directly avoid any wrinkles in the aging process by sleeping a lot, as this can also be genetic, but sleep is definitely good and necessary to support psychological as well as physical functions

We do not necessarily "age less" when we sleep. However, a regular good night's sleep is essential for our bodies to function properly. If we were to sleep less or not enough, we simply would not be able to restore energy and feel exhausted and have difficulties concentrating, for instance. Further health issues could follow.
Thus, we definitely benefit from the right amount of sleep each night. Generally speaking, people who have a healthy sleep pattern are said to experience less health problems and therefore live longer.
