Can medications make you more attractive to mosquitoes?

Michelle says:

I used to be one of those very lucky people that mosquitoes avoided. However, I have now become a walking free-for-all banquet for them. The only thing that is different is that I am now on an anti-depressant (lexamil)

Can certain medications make you more attractive to mosquitoes?

Could it be that your anti-depressant drug, makes you walk about more slowly, so offering an easier target for the mosquitoes to land on.

Medication can certainly affect how much you sweat.
It can also affect metabolism, and that would affect the volatile chemicals which help mosquitos find you.
