Vulnerable children in the UK are now eligible for the vaccine. What about children that have been suffering from Long COVID - would they be considered in the 'vulnerable' category? And would there be additional risk from their receiving the vaccine?

The causes of long COVID is still something of a mystery - but naturally, researchers have their theories.
- Some theories involve the virus "hiding out" in the body
- Or an overactive, ongoing immune response
- etc...

There have been anecdotes where people with long COVID found their symptoms improved after vaccination
- If there was virus hiding out, it is possible that the more targeted immune response from a vaccine could seek it out and destroy it
