language exchange - Russian and English
« on: 27/06/2012 12:29:51 »
Hi! My name is Constantine and I'm a student of National Technical University of Ukraine. (system engineer) At free time I learn English as well as I can, but I know  need more practice. So I've thought may someone else learn Russian or Ukrainian and have the same problem. Change RU or UA to EN.

my skype - icerockman

Let's change together)

Learn Russian or Ukranian...... I have enough trouble with American English!

Just a couple of pointers:

'...At free time I learn English ...' Grammatical error, should read 'In my free time I learn English'.

'...but I know need more practice...' Common mistaken word, should read 'but I now need more practice'.

Know - (pron. n-o) = To be aware of.
Now  - (pron. n-ow) = The present point in time.

eg = '...but I know I now need more practice.'

'So I've thought may someone else learn Russian or Ukrainian and have the same problem.'

A few errors here, depending on what you wanted to communicate and how you wanted to present it =

'So I thought maybe someone else who is learning Russian or Ukrainian is having the same problem.'
or
'So I've thought perhaps if someone learning Russian or Ukrainian, who is having the same problem....'

But, to be quite frank, your English is perfectly understandable. I've seen English and American people posting here with a far worse command of the English language than that which you have displayed.

Have you tried http://www.livemocha.com/ ? There are more and more people on there all the time who you can chat to without it turning into dating - they're primarily interested in improving their language skills.

Hey!!! actually speaking like a russian, but not being russian is very cool, it expands not only your possibilities in terms of moving around the world, but also a completely new look at interesting things!! I myself studied Russian with professional teachers SPAM REMOVED, there are really good teachers who introduced us to Russian culture and the way of life of Russians. We were also taught the language, in general, I liked it, because in the near future I want to travel a little not only in Russia, but also in Belarus
