If you like taking IQ tests and want to meet with likeminded folk, it serves its purpose.

I don't like any form of elitist snobbery. I think mensa is such a case, from my limited experience with some members.

Reminds me of a delightful cartoon. Two elegant women chatting over wine glasses and the caption "No, I can never remember their names either, but they're usually happy with Einstein, Tarzan or Big Boy".
