Environmental issues mostly - that and bedouin culture in conjunction with the medicinal properties of the plants.
First a hobby, then it got a bit out of hand and I wrote a book about it.

Up is usually better than down, though I do like down also.

I think the uppest I've been is 4700something meters (almost the top of Mont Blanc in France)
and the lowest was -103m diving in the Red Sea
(when I still thought to be a lesser God that could go beyond certain limits; I was simply lucky!).



Lousy weather today! Even bunny next to me is sleeping all day

... yeah, it's pouring all day and I got already doused twice by cars  [!]

Which means our bat walk tonight is probably going to be, well, an interesting case study in case we see bats ------------------ next time LOL

Since I have been giving you a little rubbish in the Geology part of the board I will fall on my knees, kiss your feet, and offer my sword to m'Lady. I am the resident lecherous old man of ill repute around here. - ask some of the other women. I do be a geologer, and an oil and gas geologer at that, with nothing to interst me but rocks and women and at my age all I do is drool.

I am a grumpy old man,I have a nasty disposition and I like hurting little bugs - cockroaches, to be exact. But then that isn't a big deal were we have more roaches than any other thing where I live. (Did you know that if you tape a large cockroach to the middle of turn-table thingy in a Microwave, put it on "high" for about 10 minutes _NOTHING HAPPENS!!! These things are indistructable!

But I digress. Welcome tot he forum, mam, may your stay be as beautiful as your soul seems to be.

I have seen a dead one from tyhe natural history museum and it was a prehistoric cockroach it was monsterous! LOL
