IKO, we use your term of Mamma Mia, the same way in my family, meaning "oh my goodness" or "for heavens sakes" or "aye yie yie" or "Lands  sakes alive"! "Oh my gawd" qualifies also, so for me, it means the same as your meaning! I got it, no mis interpretation.... YAAAAY! I did not misunderstand you this time YAAAAY! So Glad!! LOL

You know, I learned English from a book...
So I deserve more information about your persistent and ripetitive:
LOL, lol, every 5-10 words, in any size and colour available.
Does it , mean Lollypop? Left-over-light? Light-on-luxury?
Is all this lolling around a typical devastating sign of a chronic "lol syndrome"?  Is it contagious?
May be it means liver-oil-literature...and I would be deeply  concerned about it.
Any suggestion?
lots-of-love!

Hi Iko - I'm sorry, I didn't think about you not knowing about LOL.  Simply put, it is internet slang for Laugh Out Loud.  I don't know if you use google or not, but it can be a very useful tool.  Go to www.google.com and type in what you're looking for.  I use it on a daily basis.  Hope that was helpful to you.[:)]

Carolyn

p.s. - Thanks for asking about my fish-oil kid.  He's actually not taking it right now, the bottle I had was expired and the local store is out, but hopefully, he will start on it in the week or so.
