You're the lucky one, a wealthy independent wife that repairs your bike:)
Does she have a sister?

Yeah I've been in some too, one in India where a water buffalo took me with its horn in the side and me cannoning on the tarmac riding on my little round metallic box of snuff inside my pocket with an Indian hitchhiker riding on my back. We must have looked quite funny ::))

Bacon huh?

---
I'm still nerve dead where that box was :)

I loved the one with the bear man..

And the bacon was nice too ::))

It's like they say.. It's not the pain, it's the memories that makes it worthwhile :)

Geo and Yor_n you both need to invest in a small can of inexpensive shaving cream... you know the foam kind in a pump can. You use a small amount on a soft cloth and it helps to keep fog free. Use a rag and wipe clean the inside of visor window etc with the foam..... It stops the visor from steaming over etc.. It works for a few days in our experience here, but it does depend on how much you use it. Rub it in, cleaning the whole inside surface with the foam, allowing a fog free coating that really helps a lot! ITS ALSO CHEAP AND WORKS ON BATHROOM MIRRORS DURING SHOWER TIMES.

I used it on my VW's they had horrible heaters, that were awful in those 6 volt systems, about fogging up windows.. This was very helpful, but remember to keep it in the vehicle! LOL, It worked for a few days depending on the moisture... Then just repeat as needed!

Thanks Karen.  I have found it to work on bathroom mirrors, and this reminds me that I wondered about its use on a car, specifically side mirrors that are so small and critical, yet don't clear easily of moisture.

Your welcome.. I liked it it worked better then no vision..LOL..It really helped...
I think someone told me hairspray too, but I never tried that one so do not know if it works.

Who was Lorraine as in the song "I can see clearly now that Lorraine has gone"?
BTW, I can't see hairspray working as an anti fog agent.

Hey Like I said I never tried the hairspray one, but only heard it worked, but the shaving cream I did try and use it in my shower regularly!

Geo...If you have not fixed that my ex-husband is a biker and he says something that really works reliably for the outside of the visor is something called "Maguires Mirror glaze," plastic cleaner and polish. It's a thick liquid....use as directed.. look up on net.He says it really repels that water away!
