Yes I normally do nothing in POIS. I once went on day 1 of POIS to the gym. And I sneezed a lot, my eyes get red. I told his too my physiotherapist. She said that this is only in the first minutes. Afterwards the immune systems slows down.

I think I do some exercise on my hometrainer when in POIS. She said you can sport a little bit less intensive when you are sick. I used to be afraid because I read that when you have the flu and you sport you can have an hart attack. But she said that this not the case with the pseudo flu. Only if you have heavy flu.

It’s a good idea to do as less as possible in POIS.
That’s my experience.
The first day I can do some little jobs but very slowly and easily, even playing the piano is to much.
I can ignore the symptoms – go for a walk, doing some purchases, and so on – but afterwards all  the complaints are very much heavier than before !
It gave me a start reading about your exercises. [:o]

I was thinking back to when I got POIS....  It was just after I turned 14.  Before that I do not remember problems with orgasm.  (I could achieve orgasm at about 13).

I fainted in an airport and hit my head really hard on the floor.... and was unconscious for about 5 minutes.  This happened only weeks before I noticed POIS symptoms.

I really hope this did not trigger it.  Has anyone else had similar accidents shortly before their POIS started?

This morning, in POIS, I took 2 Benadryl and "forced sleep" and "forced rest"...next to testosterone, it's my 2nd best POIS-combat tool!

Sometimes "simple" works! (Occam's Razor?)

I wish I could remember when POIS started! I have a 15-year "mystery gap" I'll probably never explain.

I estimate that I was about the same age, and perhaps it was within a year or maybe two of becoming sexually active. My initial symptoms were severe back pain, nothing else. I did have one time before POIS started that I got knocked out for a minute or so, but I don't remember what age I was.

POIS hit shortly after puberty ~ 12 years old. Can't recall hitting my head hard around that time period but I fell off a swing when I was about 5 years and landed on a tile floor, was knocked out cold for a few minuites.

Mine started after a time of particularly heavy ecstasy usage @ age 19, 15 years ago.  Eventually having an O felt began to feel like coming down off of ecstasy. The extremity has subsided, but I suffer many of the symptoms that others here share. Has anyone else had any experiences with drugs and POIS? Thanks.

My hangovers from drinking alcohol were WAY out of proportion to what I actually drank. Just a little booze could set me off for days, like POIS. I quit drinking completely 17 years ago.

Same thing with jet lag. Days of torture!

I decided to have 3 vodka crans on new years eve, after not having a drink in a couple years. I had a little buzz going on but nothing big, it wore off a couple hours after I stopped drinking, then about 3 in the morning I became very sick and was throwing up until the next evening.  I actually would have been throwing up through the second evening, but i took a sleeping pill and passed out after nearly 24 hour of vomiting.  If i don't have a bad liver, I don't how I could possibly become so sick unless i have a significant amount of some unknown toxin streaming through my arteries.

WOW Demo - I have the EXACT same thing... it's like a chemical depression for a few days - similar feeling to POIS (foggy, weak,fatigued,depressed)- haven't drank for 12 years myself as a result...

I had a similar incident.  One day in college I was learning flash, felt dizzy, went upstairs to the bathroom, fainted and woke up a little while later.  I don't remember having POIS prior to that.  Not saying I didn't, just didn't remember it.  Remembered it in college though.  Refraining from sexual activity prior to exams.  In highschool I'd refrain thinking I'd  aggravate my acne.  Still does btw as in minor whiteheads.

Hmm, I thought it was interesting that we get more susceptible to getting sick during Pois.  Kinda like HIV no?  I seem to be able to fall prey to alot more bacteria and viruses after pois.  Also if our immune system is reacting so strongly, why doesn't resist against diseases better?

Milk Thistle is supposed to be good for the liver. I am actually taking it now just to try it. I have always been quite sensitive to alcohol. I quit drinking entirely about 10-15 years ago because it makes my insomnia worse. Even a literal sip of wine will affect my sleep.

I also thaught that I had POIS after 5 years after being sexual active. Then I had an UTI and noticed that I couldn't have a full O. But I had 2 years after POIS. That was a mild version of POIS. Only some pain in the joints a bit of irritation in the nose. If have to mention something maybe that's that I masturbated one time too long. So long that a bit of skin went of and there was a little bit of blood on my P.

I already use Xyzal (levocetirizin) on a daily basis. I take that in the morning. After I wake up there is always irritation in the nose. But maybe it's an idea to take the pill at night. Maybe that helps to sleep. I don't think that you can buy Benadryl over the counter in The Netherlands. But I will ask.

Mine started at 18 when I was taking large amounts of Cannabis, Ecstacy, LSD and Amphetamines, at first I obviously thought the drugs were causing my problems so I stopped them but that had no effect.

Gradually over the years my symptoms have got worse and worse, strangley enough alchohol seems to have a positive effect on my physical symptoms for a couple of days after having a drink, I still have them but milder, after that I'm back to my normal POIS severity.

the only time I've had a concussion(it was slight, not as bad as yours CP) was when I was roughly that same age, 14. I was snowboarding, caught an edge and hit my head on the hard-packed trail. I remember reliving, in those few moments(3-4mins), dreams I had had years before(that or it was a serious case of dejavu). And I do notice that when I tell people/doctors about POIS, I use the age of 15 as sort of my guideline for when these symptoms started. I'm much older now, so my memory has faded a bit.
