Louis Caplan about POIS? Excellent idea, Van! I just wrote to Dr Caplan at Harvard and copied you and a few others here (so the information doesn't stay only in my hands). Thanks again.

And I sincerely hope other members here can also follow up with some good ideas for more outside research help for all of us here at the forum!
My GP studied the POIS-papers and asked me a few questions. He decided to send me to a neurologist. My GP said that a neurologist is open for new diseasses.
Haha i was going to do that to. [Follow up with more outside researchers]
I wish you the best CCC. The weird feelingmight disappear because it was your first time with med.
Neurologist? Yes, that seems like a very interesting avenue to pursue! The phrase that you wrote that caught my attention was "openness to new diseases."That "openness", in my opinion, is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT TRAIT of all in finding a physician who can help study and treat our POIS. WAY too many physicians are afraid to tackle "the unknown", i.e., if POIS is not in their medical textbooks, many of them simply do not wish to be bothered by us!Best wishes for your outcome, Van.
From the Ashby-paper:QuoteDiclofenac75 mg was prescribed, to be taken 1–2 hours priorto sexual activity with orgasm, and to continuetwice daily for 24–48 hours. This intervention providedconsistent improvement (up to 80% betteras reported by the patient) in the severity of Case1’s symptoms; thus, the patient now feels able toincrease the frequency of his sexual activity fromtwice a month to four times a month.Does anyone tried this before? In the Netherlands you can only get 75 mg pills with a prescription from the doctor.

Did the members who visited a neurologist had a blood vessel test? With an O. blood goes to the penis and up to the head. Bad blood vessels could play a role in POIS.I have burst blood vessels on the side of my nose after an O.
I'm curious... about 4 years ago, I started getting lots of Lipomas: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipoma [nofollow] See the wiki picture and description. Does anyone else here have these? Maybe this is somehow connected to POIS.

They don't seem to be multiplying as I age and the size has stayed the same.
