And I'm curious as well to find out what he does know. We're not exactly a well-know fodder for humor on Letterman, so maybe the author knows something we don't? Can't hurt to try and find out.

Speaking about the mental aspect of POIS:Say because of whatever POIS is, something is messed up in our body that causes other problems, ie, a certain % of memory and cognitive dysfunction even when we havent O'ed in forever. Of course we cannot really measure what our fullest cognitive n memory functions would be, since we really have no point of reference. I am interested in seeing w/e this "treatment" is, and being open to the possibility that trying the treatment alone, without O'ing, might bring benefits in and of itself. This assumes of course that there is a standing deficiency within the body wherein an O causes all these POIS symptoms. Can Dr. Waldinger at least give us a timeline of when the information may be published?
I tried this: a half an hour before an O I took 1 Xyzal (antihistamines). And then directly after the O a NSAID. Let's see if I recover faster.Tommorow I'm going to try magnesium preparations. I will not be the cure. But I read that magnesium is very good for the muscles and joints. Maybe this wil improve the recovory.
It's brilliant to read that Dr Waldinger has continued his research into POIS. .Demo, could I get a copy of the Ashbey paper please?Well done everyone on the continued posts and for tirelessly driving things forwardFor my part I have not much progress to report. However, my doc has referred me to some specialists in sexual medicine who are apparently aware of POIS and I am currently waiting for an appointment which may take some weeks to come through. Of course I'll update the forum about any leads.
Demo, I like your style. Got the paper (the Ashby one!), thanks - look forward to reading that.I'm sorry to read that POIS occurs in other galaxies, I wouldn't wish it on alien life-forms. At least we'll have something in common to talk about when they arrive on Earth though. Who'd have thought that such an awkward to approach subject would be the first thing you'd share with an alien?
