Now that I'm starting to get back into meditation, it made me rememeber that when I was meditating more regularly, I was MUCH more sensitive to drugs, medications and herbal effects. In the state that I have recently passed, I have been highly desensitized. To take some natural disinflamatory in the quantities required to produce relief, I'd probably have to take lethal doses []. Most people don't meditate, so their sensitivity is also lower. I suppose that is why I mentioned to Habibou the warning about natural disinflamatories. On one side, I guess those of us who take lots of medicine, naturally require more to have a similar effect. Those who don't take much medicine are more sensitive. And then again, if you meditate, even less.If you don't take processed medicines but do take natural medicines, again, your senstivity will go down as you up the usage, but obviously it won't go off the scale as with processed meds.My post about lemon leaf actually reminded me. In the days that I took that, I would practically fall asleep after a cup of that tea. Not sure if I'd feel it right now.... but I want to get back to that!!A weather system is passing and my neck is ready to explode!!! Sigh. Ooouuuuummmmmmm!

Suggesting that I have anything to do with the doctors who told you "it's all in your head" is completely over exaggerated
I would please like to ask to stop trying to insult me.
Saying poorly-researched is insulting because you are not a "medical professional"
Yoplait, I think you are the only one on this forum who thinks POIS is just psychosomatic.
When everybody thinks POIS is only psychosomatic, nobody will try a treatment (pills).

I have also tried but couldnt wait more than a month to see it help. also try lowdosenaltrexone.org for more info. if you cant find a doctor that will give you prescription, let me know i have list doctor that will do it by phone that is pretty cheap. i am also taking break school hopefully there is a solution by the time i go back.

What is the dose amount for low-dose naltrexone? Ive just done a bunch of reading on the effects it has on autisitc patients and something about this one's mechanism of action in relation to the "endorphematic release" after an O has me thinking it's worth looking into. My doctor is pretty open minded, I just need to figure out the dosage per day or week.
Demografx is there a way to confirm whether dr waldingers paper come in about next month or 2-3 month. I asking so i can plan strategy for next year.
He told to my doctor that it would be publiched by 2 or 3 months from now. They met at a congress in Malaga this november.

But make sure you taper slowly off them!!! I made the mistake once of going off Paxil cold turkey and had severe withdrawl symptoms, it wasn't pretty. I had the "zaps" for years afterward: electric pulses that would wake me from sleep. So be careful! Thanks. I had normally 20 mg. Yesterdag I had 10 mg. And today and tommorow also 10 mg. And then I will stop. I didn't take Paxil for al long period. Only 3 weeks. My neurologist didn't mention to taper slowly.
