I have previously argued, rather successfully I think, in Dark Matter Ops that gravity can exist independent of matter and that it is impossible to prove whether gravity arises from matter or whether matter arises from gravity - as the two are inextricably linked.
It was from this stand point that I argued that Dark Matter was gravity devoid of matter.
It is my continued contention that the curvature of space, also known as the increasing density of space, creates matter, and this time I use the assertion to propose an explanation for the wave particle duality as well as the uncertainty principle as described by Heisenberg.
If we followed the smooth continuum of curvature of space-time gravity, force lines converge and we end up with a black hole of infinite density. The Max Planck Institute of Gravitational Physics have postulated for example that two gravity waves can create a black hole independent of matter.
What we find though is that most black holes are formed from the collapse of matter. The force of gravity overcomes the internal resistive forces of the atoms and the atom collapses. In this sense, matter can be thought of as resisting gravity until it can resist it no longer. Matter is acting like a plug, blocking this smooth transition of gravity to infinite density.
Thus we may re-imagine this converging gravity continuum as having a matter plug at a certain point along its length. We might think of this as an outward event horizon blocking further movement, even though gravity can penetrate into matter. Just like a black hole forms from the curvature of space, matter too forms from the curvature of space.
To reiterate and put it into the language of a black hole, we might say that matter is an outward (preventing further encroachment) event horizon arising from a property of the curvature of space-time that opposes the very curvature that created it. Rather than a point of no return it is a point of no further egress.
The matter plug blocks the gravitational field, in effect turning it off locally around the particle. This propagates outward through the field, but not at the speed of light. Space has memory, in other words it is deformable and slow to return to a non-deformed shape, as evidenced by gravity waves that can propagate through space.
The cessation of the gravitational field locally however causes matter to collapse into a wave. With the transformation of the matter plug into a wave, the gravity field switches back on as the initial conditions are still present, causing the particle to retract its wave form and reform the plug. This re-creation of matter turns gravity back off. Thus, high speed switching between particle and wave occurs.
This would seem to not only explain the particle wave duality problem, but also give ontological explanation to quanta. At a certain frequency of vibration, a certain amount of energy is transferred before the switch occurs. The higher energy particle collapses into a higher energy wave which reforms.
Because the switching is so rapid the probability distributions of a particle become both a wave and a particle at the same measurable time. Because matter is created as a product of the curvature of space, the re-materialisation of the particle may not necessarily be in the exact same spot from which it disappeared, depending on minor variations in the field. It may be that the particle is able to reappear within a spatial range also giving uncertainty.
