Hi, I'm in the UK with a cancer classed as rare and aggressive, but due to become one of the most prolific. I'm trying to manage it naturally, and have hit a catch 22. UK govt keeps saying we can't assess or interact with anything other than standard treatment, as no evidence. No one wants to assess to look at evidence

I've personally had no assessment since March  '17, two months after diagnosis, and am aiming for change here.
In the interim, were seeking to set up a health management resource, and app..does anyone fancy jumping in to any of the conversations, to help advise the measurements, methods in the wider forum. Most seem in a state of Learned Helplessness. anything you  can offer to help the conversations along would be invaluable.

The natural outcome of aggressive cancer is death if its not too late get proper medical help

The government doesn't need to do research on the "natural" outcome from cancer.
It's sadly  very well known. as Syhprum pointed out.

The evidence shows that the standard treatments help.
As a taxpayer, I know which one I'd expect my money to be spent on.

Having said that I can see why someone elderly and infirm, might not want to go through the rigours of therapy, just to slightly delay the inevitable.

In that case palliative care would be appropriate; it too can be accessed via your doctor and the NHS.

No one wants to assess to look at evidence

There have been studies to access the evidence of natural management and the outcomes are not good. The natural course as @syhprum says is death.
Problem is no patient wants to hear that.

Worth looking at ABC interview with Steve Jobs:

Weed the world the cannabis elements.

Smoking cannabis will increase your chances of getting cancer in the long term.

But if you already have an aggressive cancer, cannabis could form part of a palliative care scheme. Medicinal cannabis is permitted in some countries.
- I understand that medicinal cannabis is officially available in the UK, but in practice it is very hard to obtain.
- Just don't smoke it around your care-givers and other patients, or you could add an extra burden of disease on their already-troubled lives.
