What do you think of the Ark of the Covenant? Wood, coated in gold. If people touched it they died. It preserved substances within, and an almond tree branch budded.

Similar stories come from the Egyptian pyramids, of electrical charges within. And from China where archaeologists uncovered a tomb, full of charcoal with a charge, that preserved the woman's body within for thousands of years, so that her last meal, was recovered, and actually sprouted when planted.

Japanese scientists a while ago, maybe 15 years, developed and electric blanket, that doesn't warm but charges you body when asleep. To improve sleep and general health. I saw it demonstrated, increasing strength in the test person.

Did Moses know something about electricity, as a student in Egypt? Was there a charge or something more in the Ark of the Covenant, that gold box with angels depicted on it?

Moses devised it on the mountain in that fearsome time of power demonstrations... in the wilderness.

Well, the electric charge preserves things.

Marilyn Hickey I think had an ark built, and the electrolyte qualities of gold, Shittim wood and expansive wings gains a charge from the air.

Objects inside the original were preserved. Manna, the almond branch and the tablets of stone with the commands engraved.

It seems the ancients used this in their graves.

But mention of the Ark in the Bible describes more than a charge, it was uncontrollable.

I'll add that certain plastics have electrical qualities, you know, static. And silver and copper, conduct well. Certain shapes collect electricity. Pyramids and I suppose wings. The red stones, the minerals from which the pyramids were built.

There was an experiment that I saw on TV in a documentary about Bible stories (trying to see if they could be true). A box was built exactly as The Ark of the Covenant is decribed in the Bible and when carried by people wearing certain types of robe it did, in fact, generate a hefty static charge.

There was no conclusive proof that it would have been enough to kill anyone but it would certainly have given them quite a jolt.

I've heard many stories about pyramid power and most of them are rubbish. It was at 1 time claimed, and may still be for all I know, that if you leave a blunt razorblade in a small pyramid overnight it will be sharp by the morning. I've tried that and it didn't work.

Arthur Scargill tried a power demonstration in the 80s and ended up in the wilderness (Brits of a certain age will understand that).  []

It's quite unlikely it was used to power any ancient Parthian scalextric set, but it's electrical none the less.
