I know it's a strange question, but please treat it with the respect and seriousness it deserves!

What would chairs look like if our knees were on the back of our legs?

I don't think chairs would look any different, though stools might be the better option since we might perch much like a bird rather than sit. The big problem might be getting your trousers on and off.

Assuming no other major anatomical differences.

One would likely choose to sit with the legs more or less straight.

A few possibilities come to mind.  A lounge chair.  You would still have to carefully consider how one would extract oneself from it, as the legs would have to be straight under oneself to initiate balance, or one would roll onto one's stomach to stand.

With that in mind, one may choose chairs that would support one's stomach area, rather than the rear.

One could also choose a stool that would maintain a standing posture.

A stool made out of a bicycle seat may also be comfortable.

With that in mind,
One may have to reverse both the hips and the knees for things like walking and riding a bicycle to work out right.

And one's seat becomes on the ventral side rather than the dorsal side.

So, your chair would look reasonably normal, but one would sit in it backwards.  Something like this.

Sorry about my crude drawing.
