it came from out of our Galaxy
This year we saw a scientific first: The first object confirmed to have come from outside our Solar System.

Unfortunately, astronomers only spotted it as it was moving away from us, so they didn't get a very good look at it.

We can tell from its hyperbolic trajectory that it exceeds the escape velocity of the Sun, so it is from outside our solar system. We can also tell from its velocity that it does not exceed the escape velocity of our galaxy, so it's origin is probably from within our galaxy.

Remember there are Cristians who believe Jesus walked in England!

Just an aside that has no more scientific connection than has much of this thread.

There is a tradition in the Penzance area in Cornwall that Joseph of Arimathea visited several times, and that it is he after whom Market Jew St in Penzance was named.  The story maintains that on one occasion he brought Jesus with him.  Even as a child, I took this story with more than a pinch of salt.  I suspect that the origin of Market Jew St is more accurately traced to Jewish trading in/about the 17th c.
