of the several changes that have taken this forum over the time I was gone, some were pleasant, some were unpleasant.

the question I have is, who remembers jolly?  his two messages to me show him as a guest, so it makes me wonder if he was banned...

I might list this among the more pleasant side effects because of his theorys that the moon has no gravity, and his shortsided defense of that statement.

so... did he go out in a blaze of glory? or did he fade into nothingness?

other than that... how was your day?

but the information to the left of his posts show him to be a guest, which is making me wonder

Jolly went through a bad patch (he would be the first to admit that), but I think he has come out of the other side of that now.

If you look at some of my old messages, you will see them marked as being 'guest' messages.  This comes about if you one reason or another you delete your account and recreate it (which for various different reasons both Jolly and I have done with our accounts).  None of this was due to action on the part of the moderators (their is no benefit from the moderation perspective is deleting an account - the moderators would rather just ban the account but leave it on file, if they have a need to do that at all).

Can i express a personal opinion? well, im going to anyway...

IMHO, Jolly was a total dick. He did not believe any of the moon stuff he posted, he did it merely to get a reaction from and to annoy people. His so called girlfriend was also made up, anyone who read his signature when he got banned would know this.

he changed his signature in to a long rant, but did 'confess' that all the stuff he posted was made up, we were part of his silly little expermint.

When his ban was up, he changed his signature back. like i said, in my opinion he is a total dick.

🤣

Honestly I found this highly amusing. I honestly don't remember ever suggesting the moon had no gravity.

But did for a while ponder if the moon followed the earth in a different way to how science had suggested, even Newton  said thinking about how the moon actually moved, gave him a headache.
I certianly wasnt trolling as Paul suggested,  at the time I had serious a idea I wanted to discuss.
I would agree with another someone there.

Nice walk down memory lane,  as to if the moon landing actually happened, as a scientist once said to me "there are some serious issues with the idea"
