I have just learned that my Jubii email account is going to close next month.

Can anyone suggest how I can save copies of the emails in this Jubii account to my PC.

Can you access that email through POP or IMAP?  If so, you can sign in to it through Outlook or Thunderbird, and save them to your hard disk from there.

I'm afraid I'm not sure in that case, sorry!  Could you set up a filter that will forward it to a new email address?  I've never used Jubii, so I've no idea what the limitations are.

I have a free Lycos email account (same parent company as Jubii) which is also closing in February.

POP3 has been enabled on the free Lycos accounts for the last few weeks untill it closes to allow transfer of emails to PC or another email provider...

We have activated POP3 access in order to help you import your e-mails from your Lycos Mail account into an alternative e-mail account before the closure of Lycos Mail on 15/02/2009.

Maybe the parent company will do the same for Jubii email accounts.


If not you could forward the emails individually from Jubii to another account, (although you could end up with RSI doing this  [])
