I didn't know where to put my question, so feel free to move it to the right section :)

What is the best thing to do/eat to feel awake when you have to sleep for few hours or wake up as early as 4 am?

please don't say coffee.. it does absolutely nothing to me no matter how caffeinated it can be.. and please exclude exercise, showers and energy drinks.

Is it true that the hours of sleep you get before 12am are more satisfying that the hours of sleep you get after 12 am?

Thank You in advance!

Drink a lot of good water as soon as you wake up; don't eat much before going to sleep.

I see that you are in Syria, so recommending not too much alcohol might not be worth it!

Is this to be a regular time to wake up, or a one-off?

Dentstudent, what does being Syrian have to do with alcohol?
fyi I don't drink!!!!

I have to wake up at 4 or 5 occasionally because I like to study in the morning, I usually wake up early when I have exams.. so about 3 times a month..... if that helps

Not helpful to you Farah, but this is a brilliant (subtittled) french animated warning about the perils of coffee.

I used to be told that by my Mother when I was a lad. That was to give me some incentive to go to bed and it's go to be rubbish for most people.
