Okay, I'm sure someone has thought of this already, but wimps would make qualititive differences like those we currently explain with dark matter, I dunno about qualitative.
Are WIMPs easier to accelerate than normal matter?

I presume that you are referring to the "weakly interacting massive particles" verariety not the cringing cowards :-)
The mass describes how easy they are to accelerate and as they are massive it is clear that the are not all that easy to accelerate. also as they interact weakly it is not easy to do anything much with them!
WIMPS are just one of a range of terms to describe things that we dont know about that might be part of the dark matter that makes up most of the mass in the universe if we are to have a properly flat one.

I don't think so they could interact less but it depens on the force applied to it
