Maybe photoshopped, the feet do look different to me.  But on the other hand I've seen horses with some bizarre colour patterns.

Have you seen the half 'n' half?
Is this supposed to be a test of our reading skills and memory?

The photo came from this article.
http://www.nature.com/news/2010/100310/full/news.2010.114.html

I'm going with it being real, but I'm still a little lost on the exact genetics, or if it was actually manipulated.  "Nature" is usually a good source.

It is also unclear if the chicken genetics was an accident, or intentionally manipulated.  Some breeds of chickens have very distinctive coloring based on sex.

Doh, I didn't think my deleted post had made it on to Google.

Yes the chicken is the real McCoy: a bilateral gynandromorph, not two animals stitched together.

Doh, I didn't think my deleted post had made it on to Google.
There are two options in Firefox:

x Block Reported Attack Sites
x Block Reported Web Forgeries.

By default, these options are enabled, and sends an update to Google for EVERY PAGE THAT A PERSON VIEWS!!

I have no doubt that they have tied this feature into their search engine.

Anyway, the chicken was cute.
I suppose to some extent the same thing can happen to humans if hormones are out of balance during development, but perhaps not on a right/left basis.

There are two options in Firefox:
x Block Reported Attack Sites
x Block Reported Web Forgeries.

Despite the scary names I do have both of those options unchecked.

However I think my forum post must have gone to Google via TNS website, rather than via my browser.

I don’t know if a duplicate of everything posted on TNS is immediately sent to Google.

There may be a delay, a sort of refresh rate, at which forums send new posts to Google, or at which a forum is scanned by Google for new posts.

If so it would be possible to make a post and delete it without it being Googleable.
